Default Smithville Lake Fishing Report 4/28

This was from a few days ago (24 crappies, 5 bluegills, 1 white bass,) but my friends have been going and pulling some in the last two days. The bigger ones are starting to come in, we have seen 10-11 inch average keepers on some nights, still very tough to catch a full limit though.

Weather will be tough in the next two weeks, so who knows how much fishing opportunities there will be with the rain.

I'm keeping all the bigger ones to fry whole, using the small ones for jerky. It was my first time making fish jerky, and was not going by any recipe, but it turned out delicious, taste is very close to beef jerky.
