I got mine a couple weeks ago, they're even cheaper now. Great jackets.

    Great price! Thanks.
Rearm kit costs almost as much as the jacket. Same with any brand though.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

Got a question about inflatable jackets, Was told if there the automatic that they will self inflate with moisture, and if there not and you get knocked out and go overboard then what? I purchased 2 inflatables about 2 years ago, since hearing about this i have went back to standard jackets. Any thought's?

The ones on this link are the automatic ones but they can be triggered manually
Yes they will inflate guick when submerged
I would not buy one that was not auto inflated

Mongo the ones you purchased should be labeled with “automatic” on them
I have been using them for 6 years and love them

I have since gave them away, but I believe they where manual and one of the reasons I gave them away was my wife can't swim, if she went overboard she would panic and never find the lanyard to pull. ( I have seen a elderly woman floating the huzzah long time ago with her husband, they hit a tree branch sticking over the water and there canoe went over, she was screaming I can't swim (wearing a life vest) over and over, we kept telling her to stand up, she was in about 6" of water. It was the fact that she was panicking why this happened, she finally stood up. You can never tell what people will do when they panic. I'll stick with old reliable

An automatic jacket will inflate within seconds of being submerged. The rip cord is just there as a fail safe, and for added redundancy they have a straw so you can blow them up like a beach ball if for some reason the CO2 cartridge is empty.

A manual inflatable is next to useless if you ask me.
