Caught a few catfish saturday
Water was not frozen and temps was good so we went to river for catfish. Hubby caught 3 catfish and 1 sturgeon. I caught 15 catfish. Brought home 8 of the biggest ones. Not bad for January 27. Water temp was 40 and only a couple ice chunks came by.

Hope they stay in the skillet better. Lol. Used night crawlers in a river. The smaller river was 40 degrees while the Missouri was 36. Only found them in one area. Sometimes when you find them they still won't bite. Gars were flipping on top. Several boats out on the water. People were fishing. Watched a guy with a big noisy inboard jet run up and down below us. Going in circles. Thought he was going to slide out of one and hit bridge piling. Then hit his own wake and boat was standing almost straight up in the air. Glad he stayed away.
