    Default Table Rock

I am headed to Branson for the rest of the week. I am just curious if it is a waste of time for me to bring a boat to fish with all the water they have received? I am setup for spider rigging and pulling crank baits. I will be in the Big Cedar Hollow area staying at Big Cedar Lodge.

Stay away from the James River above Kimberling City. I was there all last week. Muddy and full of debris. Worst I have ever seen, I thought I was on the Mississippi. The current was moving a lot of trash. I did anage to haul in a bout 40 pounds of cat fish filets but nothing else. Water was clear below Kimberling city.

I never fished crappie on the rock but I fished that area a lot in the 80's. there are a lot of bluffs with timber I on them that might work for pulling cranks but it is usually very clear so go deep. There is a beautiful cove to the right of where you are staying called Clevenger. There are a lot of big cedar trees on the north side that we used to catch some really nice crappie on.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.

The only place I've trolled is down past cricket creek in Arkansas on the long arm. Where it splits right and left the crappie will school up in there in the summer time. Not sure if it's clear down there. If you go down that way, make sure you drive around and find the big ole tree on your sonar. I lost three crankbaits on that puppy in one pass. My waypoint says (NO TROLL) over that tree and the ones around it.

Took Friday off so I could get my brother in law and pop in law on some fish.
I was a horrible guide. Fish all over the graph and not a bite trolling.
Stopped over a couple brush piles and only pulled a couple crappie.
Stinkareno. pppfffffttt like beagle would say.

Got the deck stained, so maybe fish a little more as long as work doesn't keep me buried.
Found out today we most likely will have a new owner at the end of the third quarter.
Looks like a good deal for us, but time will tell.

Pulled cranks for an hour yesterday out of the pontoon. Again. fish everywhere and at the right depth. One Kentucky and no crappie.
I think these fish know when I'm on the lake. Nothing to do but keep trying.

2015 has been my worst year for getting out and stinking it up when I do.
I gotta figure out how to hold my mouth right.

Put in at Cape Fair and went up river. PUlled cranks for a couple hours. 1 crappie 1 bass. Fish all over the graph again down deep.
Hit some brush piles for the tic tic on the jig. Five keepers and not much else. The Rock's been hard on this fisherman this year. It'll turn around some time. Hope for a better report at a later date.

You'll get into them. Keep after them.
