Cool stuff.
Carp report. YES I SAID CARP! Started at 11 am about 50 yards in the Maries and didn't get a hit. Then went around the corner and fished the Osage from 1230 to 445 pm and caught 13 commons and 2 grassies. I forgot my scale but I'd say all were over 5 pounds with the biggest being 16 to 18 pounds. I used field corn (PREPARED CORRECTLY!!!!) on medium spinning tackle and treble hooks, beached my boat on the pea gravel. I fish crappie 75% of the time but carp are without a doubt my favorite to catch. Hard to tell how big they are until you see them bc they fight so hard. They make that drag go ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Those sure do put up a fight. Thanks for posting. I used to catch some on poles and give them to a guy that canned them. They boys bow fished for em quite a bit. The smaller ones caught out of the river eat ok fried if ya don't have anything else to eat. I ate several back in my younger days.
Thanks for the pics.
