    Default Smithville 4-22-14

Went out bank fishing after work to see if anything was happening. Caught my limit in about 2 hours plus another limit of shorts. Caught them all on minnows below bobbers about 4- 5 feet deep, from just before dark and after dark. Fished around rip rap and they didn't want the bait sitting still wiggling, I had to slow retrieve to get them to hit good. Also as a bonus before I started even crappie fishing I decided to throw some Rooster Tails for some bass in this little cut turning from rock to mud where there was a lot of action with fish jumping completely out of the water. I ended up landing 3 good large Mouth Bass 16in, 15in and the biggest one going 19 in. I didn't have a scale to weigh them. I was using 8lb test and had my line snapped twice before I ran out of big Rooster tails. All in all I had a ball.Name: 20140422_203926[1].jpg

I managed to get a picture of the 19 before my phone died. I took my pictures and released the fat beast to get bigger. This is my True report and im sticking to it.
