You, Sir, are a hardy soul!!!! I spent my day playing with my tackle box.
Be SUPER careful out there alone.
Cabin fever has just about got the best of me but I got to T. Hill today just in time. Called 3 guys to see if anyone wanted to go but nemofisher was tied up today and the other 2 hung up on me It was a little cold but only a 10 to 15 mph wind for a change and it wasn't that bad as far as cold. 18 degrees when I started and 20 when I quit. The fishing was the worst part with very little action, caught 2 crappie and they were little guys. I did catch a 3# bass for a little excitement. I didn't weigh him but held him up next to me and he looked about 227 #'s lighter than me This was the 1st time in 15 years of fishing at T. Hill that I was the only boat on the lake. Got to watch a few eagles and blow the stink off so all in all a fun day.

Brave soul
Well at least you got out of the house. Sorry the catching wasn't better for ya!!
Sorry to hear about the fishing. I did get to eat some good pancakes, whole hog sausage and biscuits and gravy at the Mendon Catholic Church breakfast. I was offered head cheese, but didn't see much reason to totally ruin a day I couldn't fish on. Wonder how the conversation went in determining the weight of that bass. Hope it was comical. Probably thought it was a whale. At least got a little exercise hoisting him in. Hopefully better days are ahead
Ya, you must have been hard up! but always good to get the boat wet and the fingers numb. won't be long and the thump will ease the agony...
How was the boat ramp? Does anyone clear the snow off the ramps over there? You are certainly brave heading out in this weather. Thanks for the update of the Lake!
Wondered if you had been going? Glad you got out and hope the fish co operate the next time. A few of us are headed to Tanycomo the weekend of the 21st hope that gets some of this cabin fever cured.
Hey John, yes they do a good job on the ramps and parking lot most of the time. Good luck at Taneycomo Richard sounds like a good time. I think that's the weekend the wife and i are visiting her cousin at Bull Shoals and will try to get in on a little crappie fishing too.
