The old sayin Crappie r biten when the dogwoods r bloomin may be misleading this year. The water level @ Pickwick and Bay Springs is almost at summer pool already. Looks like the dogwoods gotta lot of catchin up to do.The next two weeks should be good!

Who would have thought there were so many things to watch for.... Imagine what kind of fishermen/women we would be now if when we were 10 years old that we were supposed to watch the dogwood trees, the moon phases, east winds and even if the cows are standing or lying. Good or not, I am just glad to be able to call myself a fisherman.
And from what I can see, the best time to go is when you see everyone on here posting pics of fish they are catching by the ice chest full....lol.... looks like its time to go now.
