    Default Arkabutla Spillway

Water is up, and fish are moving into elbow. Caught 18 there Sunday.

Hey Nitro, we stopped by for a few minutes early Sunday morning at Elbow and the mud was rolling in the mouth pretty good. It wasn't hardly any water where we normally fish so we left and went to Sardis Spillway and caught 8-10 there. Were they pretty nice fish?

They were all 10 inches or better. I threw back 8 that were 8-9 inches. Caught them on orange/chartreuse jig injected with crappie nibbles.

Good Deal. We might see you down there this weekend if you go. There were only 2 trucks parked at the Spillway Sunday morning early. Were there more people there later on in the day?

There were 4 or 5 people fishing the mouth, me and another guy from millington were in the back. I caught them from 10:45-2:30. I didn't see anyone catch anything in the mouth of the creek that day. I was suprised no one was fishing the back end of the creek.

Went back yesterday from 4-5 and only caught 5 small ones around 8 inches. Water level was down a foot and a half from this weekend.

I was hoping you were going to say you caught some hogs. They must have slowed the flow through the spillway down for it to be lower than it was Sunday. I was thinking about trying it again Saturday morning.

Lake level is around 211.80 right now and falling. By Saturday they might have the flow cut back to 700cfs. Its at 2000 cfs right now. Maybe we will get some good rain on friday.
