    Default fishing Sardis

Guys, I live in northern Alabama and my bud and I are taking a trip to Sardis Lake next week. Can anyone update me on baits and plastic colors. I figure most people are trolling across the dam, but if you have any ideas or good places try I sure would appreciate it.

When I fished Sardis a couple years back I found orange, chartreuse and green to be good colors. Monkey milk is another good one. I would have a large assortment of colors and be ready to switch it up till you find what the fish are interested in on any given day.

15th should be much better than now and will give the fish a chance to settle after the rise. Orange, chartreuse and monkey milk all good depending on the water color. And don’t forget black and whatever. Haven’t been to Sardis in several months so I’m no help, but with the rising water I’d be looking shallow and in cover or just to the outside.
