I think you may not have tried shallow enuff, I'm with Scrat, you ain't gonna learn nuttin giving up. We caught fish day before yesterday in 18 inches of water, yesterday in 18 foot, go figure.

Caught a bunch of shorts today also. Couldn't get real shallow because of the wind. Everyone we spoke to were having the same luck. Saw a bank fisherman catching some gooduns this afternoon.
