    Default Afternoon Sardis trip!


    Caught 21 crappie nothing under 11 but only 7 over 12 biggest was 15 1/2. Plus A mixed bag!

    Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

    Jealous... fished Sardis all day and had no crappie over 12... all I came home with is a sunburn! Haha

    Where were you fishing? Most of our shorts were 11 3/4 inches and fat and wide! Should be lots of fish over 12 this fall. When you don't get to fish as often as you want it's tuff to throw back them 11 3/4 fish.

    I was right there at the mouth of tubby tubby... I had a few around that mark but I couldn't buy a keeper!
