The question is when night fishing do you anchor and let the fish come to you or drift around and hopefully find them. I have done it both ways with results both ways. What do you think?

I've always anchored up and let the lights do their thing.

I've never considered drifting around hoping to find them. I've always anchored over structure or on a ledge or point and let the lights work their magic. Interesting concept though!

i like sitting still and letting the light draw them in.i noticed the other night at normandy that everyone around me (4 boats)were sitting still over the standing timber.sitting still also allows you not to hang up as much.

Both ways worked for us on Friday night. We anchored in 36 FOW and caught the most fish but we did catch several slow drifting. The light weight at sensitive float did the trick on those pesky little bites. The floats work well to determine how fast you are drifting and you can determine the actual depth of your lure that way.
