    Default 2002 Mercury swap


    I have a 2002 40 hp Mercury motor that I am replacing with a 2002 Mercury 60 hp and am wondering if the remote cables and wiring that is on the 40 will work on the 60.
    I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

    Your cables should work fine. Not sure but don't see why wiring woul be any different since they are basically same motor.
