    Default THEY RAN OFF >>>>>

    BUT they is BACK !
looks like the last go to me for sure this time , thought they were gone for good , but this here cold front that rolled thru and heavy rain chilled the water back down and a big moon came along and low and behold there they are just a hammering away in short water AGAIN !
Mind you this , not a clue if they would have wanted the orange , went in with a pearl bait and proceeded to "land" over 70 fish in short water on my lunch break . Thought I should have kept 25 for the less fortunate, but did not feel like dragging fish around , lost multiple large fish using a BPS jighead that is pretty ,but for sure NOT a good hook , bends easy and does not want to stay in them well ....
the good news is I spent more time taking photos and unhooking them than ketchn them ....
need I remind yawl who brings the KABOOM .....
fish looking really tired and beat up right now , that much horseplay will leave ya looking that way you know , was told the water temp dropped to 70 this week over there , not sure, but both myself and H noticed they feel cold this week and did not last week , just fyi ....
on a side note , first time I seen this action over there was a big female crappie in the pushing 2 range taking to the AIR ! Man what a HOT fish , sure made my heart flutter a bit seeing her not in the water .....
until I go again ...it is what it is .....
p.s. only one decent fish out on the dock , I checked just for grins ....just saying

some forces of nature are a beast , some predators really take a heavy toll too .....
I mostly just harass them right rather regular to remind them it ain't safe to be in the water .....

Nice size to them. Think of the dinners we release, you and I. Some folks get downright offended when I show pics and tell em they got a pass. But like you say, ‘tis what it ‘tis and a healthy KABOOM back at cha!

Great looking slabs, especially that really dark male. Really nice when they hammer the bait you had on from the start.
