Sorry for a salt water answer, but when I fished the Race in Long Island Sound for stripers, we always had Patsy Cline going when the tide turned and the stripers turned on.

Do about 80% of are trolling with a kicker and front mount trolling motor combination...Last night we were trolling 5-6' water for walleyes No5 shad raps 40-45 feet of line out. Wether we use the kicker or just electric we seem to catch the same amount of fish, radio probably doesnt matter much.

That sounds like fun. I take it you’re running the baits at 5-6 feet - how deep is the water?
