    Default Trailer pads.

Anyone use the easy slide boat trailer pads from bass pro? If so do they work well on a fiberglass bass boat?

I had them on my trailer. My boat is aluminum. I took them off after 2 launches. Way too slick.

    Regards

I was fishing a company bass tournament and one of the guys dumped his on the ramp. WAY to slick. We had enough guys to get boat in water but his scag was gone.

I don't unhook the bow until the trailer tires are at the water. Seen one or two dropped on the ramp before that got to the water.

Agree with Jack. The paint on these newer aluminum boats is way to slick. I don't unhook mine until in the water either.

I made my own for my 16ft aluminum boat. I bought a 12" x 18" commercial grade cutting board on Amazon and ran it across my table saw.
$14 and it makes a huge difference when loading.Name: 20220222_153620.jpg
