Mega DI+ Transducer on a Minn Kota 55lb Thrust motor

According to Humminbird I am required to purchase an 80lb thrust motor in order to install the Mega DI+ transducer on the front of my boat.

The issue is that the Transducer is too long and will run in to the prop. I wanted to check here to see if anyone has any ideas on this issue so that I can get a transducer in the front of my boat.

There's no way I would put that expensive of a transducer cable on a Minn Kota and be at the mercy of the programing of that unit. Find a way to mount it independently.
