I use a blue XL Sport Brella. Mime has a tye with a Velcro strap to hold the flats up(I think) There's no telling how many that umbrella has traveled. I carry it to the beach now. No more lugging one of those ezyup canopies. And that sucker goes with me to travel ball tournaments rain or shineMillennium sidekick with umbrella holder,. I just wished I could find a base to put my extra millennium seat on and use it on the ballfeild with the umbrella holder.

Here is what I have mine mounted on. You could install a 3/4 pin base on this and good to go.

I'm with "bandchaser", silver or some other color that reflects the suns' rays.
Light or metallic like a shade for your car windows would work.
Oh yeah, sign me up as well!! I was wondering if you were going to
    come out with something!

Note: We will introduce a new umbrella in the next few weeks that will be the coolest I’ve ever seen. Drops the temp 10* plus over any other one I’ve used. Everything is done except the color of the fabric. I like silver, the boss likes blue. I want something different, any suggestions?
Im glad I waited. I would say tan, camo, or green. I want to order a base and umbrella when you get them in.

    Default Strapping down the Sidekick

I read in the sidekick instructions the max speed with the Sidekick installed is 5 MPH. I was considering strapping it down since I have cleats on both sides of boat inline with the center post. I don't want to disassemble that sucker every time I want to move to a new place on the lake.Anybody have any advice on doing this. Thanks
