Glad that helped ! That’s about all you going to get out of that boat I think ! Mine will do the same if you trim it up too much! (Which you know that I’m sure) as long as you are coming out of the hole good and getting 45mph that’s good. Those boats will plow thru the water if you don’t get on the trim pretty quick! mine is a 125 hp and 40-41 is all she has now since I added the 3rd Battery used to get 44-45 mph I have talked to several that has the same boat and around 42 is what they get !

You should be able to turn more rpms then that I would think, although I have a Yama 4 stroke like I said earlier I have mine set right now at about 4.25" below the pad with a yamaha pro 21 pitch running 5800 rpms at 49-50 mph. I'm in no ways a speed freak, but more or less I just want what I own to work as intended. It seems like your in the right road if your trying to get everything out of it though. Usually you can find a good second hand jackplate online, it took me many tries to get my boat to where it is now. It's just the headach of fine adjustments, test, adjustments, test, etc..... the only other thing is to getting used to driving with the trim, up and down in turns so you don't catch air when turning.

It's worth IT IMO, you can usually search the interweb to find out the performance specs of your motor to see what is the highest rpms possible. I tell you i dont always run wide open either cruising around 4000 rpms is about normal for me, but just knowing that if i want to i can put it in the hole and out run the rain if necessary. A good place to start is the prop, most outboards operate between 5-6000 rpm at WOT, if you not able to get the high your prop could be the culperate. if your running a power tech prop (no bueno), they are a really dense material and are very hard to turn, I've heard of miss pitch and all sorts of bad things. the difference between the power tech and the yam pro "k21" prop that I have, just looking at them the ear or blade size from prop to prop is tremendous attached is a picture comparison. The power tech is on the left and the yamaha pro series is on the right. The yamaha also has ventilation ports to help spin the prop faster on launch, the hole shot between the two is night and day.

After looking back at the first pictures from this post it looks like you have the v4 115, I think the max rpm is 5000, so if you are turning that you should be good where you are at but it still seems that there should be more mph out of your rig. There's a guy I'm friends with, he has that same motor in an h18 and he runs 50-52 mph but I think hes turning a 23 pitch prop. I'll have to check and report back my findings.
