One thing about the larger coolers --- They do not have to be full of water ,,, that gives more room as the minnows are not overcrowded with the 19 there would not be as much minnow chasing

19 or 30 for that many minnows.I like my 30 except it's heavy,I keep an old tea picture in my boat.I use it to fill the cooler with while it's in the boat. When I get to the store I carry the tea picture in and get minnows then dump them in the engle.Only reason I bought the 13qt is because we fish tournaments and it being smaller fits better in the front deck.I would say the best all around sizes is the 19qt though.

We fish Miss. every year and a 19 will hold a pound of big minnows without Any problems. We change the water at the lake at the end of the day if we have left overs for the next day. That being said there have been times I have thought a 30 would be nice to keep extras and use the 19 for daily use.

I have the 13 and the 30. Keep most of my minnows in the 30 and keep the 13 up front with me takes up less room.
