Most of my rods are the older B&M Slow Troll telescopic rods from 10 to 18 ft. Guess I bought them at the right time, $3 for the 10's and $10 for the 18's. Most are 16 footers, $8 and have got shorter over the years with top replacements. They still catch fish so why replace them. I can store them down to about 4 ft or leave them long on the transport rack which I don't really like. I looked at B&M rods the other day, Slow Troll has been replaced with Black Widow. Black Widow back in the day didn't have guides. A bit more but not to pricey.
I bought a pair of Zebco 12 ft 2 section rods at an auction for $8 each. I didn't try them before I bought, wish I had. They feel like there's a 10 lb block at the joint.
