I find it hard to believe that some folks just know that fish sense our bait vibrations (especially bass) through their lateral line and yet do not believe the sonar pings can't be felt as well. Astonishing. Science as told us that the lateral line in fish is extremely sensitive to vibrations. Sometimes these vibration attract....sometimes repel.

Once I'm on a spot I'm going to fish, I shut down the sonar and have a cup of coffee before proceeding to fish. This has had positive effects on my catch ratios over the years - in my opinion.

I don't think fish really are bothered on most waters . But some shallow lakes with lots of fishing pressure they might be spooked .

The only fish I catch are the dumb, blind, and senile ones which can't hear, see, or remember anything and will respond to anything that appears to be free food thus are sonar insensitive.
