    we all have our favorites and it's about confidence of course, what you use most of time. have noticed changing the jig color makes big difference, use plain lead heads most of time but do put colored ones on as well. play with changing just to see.

    100 % unpainted - no exceptions. Lure action and size always the most important factors along with lure colors (a few will do.)

    Me too. Found that by using non-painted takes lots of the guess work out. Color of grub seems to be the most important in my fishing for crappie. Plus, saves me $$$$ when U can order by the 100 off amazon or Ebay. I do use painted heads but majority non-painted.
