    The salt will inhibit bacteria growth.

    Hello: I've seen fish in grocery stores that I would never eat but they were still selling them. Your fish are fine just rinse them off real good. Good Luck . O - R

    Your sight, smell and texture test should make the determination. The month of May in Iowa they should be good especially with them already being on ice water. Now leaving them out over night here in the deep south this time of year is a different story.
