If none of them work, try a marabou and chenille jig.

These have been the best colors for my river.

I mostly fish southern pro tubes on 1/32 and 1/16th heads, and I fish slab daddy jigs. Did just order some from thump-it. I've brought minnows twice in the last 10 years, and don't plan to ever buy them again. I'll also fish crankbaits now and then, little spinnerbaits, and sassy shad style baits.

Kalin's Triple Threat Grubs in Tennessee shad with a white 1/16 jighead. Oh and don't forget the nibbles.

Black and chartreuse tube on round jig head, if that doesn't work I go with chartreuse and black tube.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty, well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming "WOW what a ride".

At this time of the year when the lakes turn over a lot of my crappie fishing will be in 20 to 30 FOW. I use a 1/8 once jig with a #6 hook tipped with power bait. Due to the colder water I keep my jig size to 1 1/2 inch.
In the summer I use the same type of jigs only with the 1/32 to 1/16 once head.Name: IMG_0385.JPG
