as a new member here:
1. I think this is a great site and have already purchased from a few that post/sponsor on this site.
2. as for the people on this site who attempt crucify someone before they even know what is going on.............I will not knowingly purchase your product. I KNOW it makes no difference to you (though it should) but it makes a difference to ME. this thread and the one referring to the attractors have some of the most crass remarks i have heard on ANY forum.

Welcome aboard John, I like new baits as everyone does. But please help Ed out and offer to sponsor LFT with him on this site as websites do incur $$$ to operate yearly. They can send some packs of baits for Ed to offer in contests and these will get to the crappie fisherman to field test and they will post the results for all to read. Plus their product can be Google linked on this site as well.

That's another thing about having new people hawk and endorse products that aren't sponsors of this site. Why should they pay to advertise/sponsor when they can have their Pro Staff come on here and do it for free!
I'm all for promoting tackle and supplies that sponsor/advertise on this site (as long as it isn't rammed down our throats)... but to advertise for free takes away from this site.
I'm sure LFT is aware of this site and it's many members.

Welcome to the site John. I see you met the crew. I've been watching this thread and have not replied, I just wanted to see it play out. I appreciate all the support from the members about asking John to become a sponsor but I don't condone jumping down John's throat to do so. Just mention it, and give the man a break (and like CP says, let the mods take care or it). Remember, above all, I want a friendly fishing website, and we should welcome newbies. Now on the other hand John, you have to understand, that since you are on their pro-staff, and your first post is all about the product, the members are going to jump in. Being in the public eye, and a pro-staff member, does unfortunately put you under a bit of a microscope.
So John, welcome to the site, I hope you stay, and I hope you take the time to become a regular contributor. And if nothing else, all the harping and talk in this thread brought the product some real attention.

Guys this bait catches fish. Period.
John is trying to give you guys a chance to hear about them. If you think they are too expensive that is fine. They are a premium bait that has a price tag that matches. Just like Bandits, hand tied jigs and Bobby Garland baits but I buy them too. I will be coming to Emory soon load up on some more.
