darbonne today
Finally made it fishing again. Went to darbonne this am. It was slow but caught some really nice ones. Brought home 11 fish, only caught 11 fish. 1 big yellow bass, 2 medium size crappie, 8 crappie all over 1 1/2 lbs. caught every fish in a about a 20 yard area. Just seemed like ya had to work hard for 'em. Those biguns were THICK and full of eggs. Hope to find a few more fri/sat. Caught em all on chart/jig head, electric/chicken, tipped with shiner just off the bottom in 20-24 feet water.

will be there fri. late am. and fri. night. May try to do some sat. don't know yet. Anyone know of anybody night fishing on darbonne right now? RayJayHawk I was fishing "near" the darbonne/corney split. I hope to get into the big ones again but I need some numbers, gonna try and have a fish fry fri. night. Would like to have 'em right out the lake instead of the freezer. We'll see? Good luck to all!
