    Default Povety Point Sunday


    Made a short trip to PP this afternoon and caught 15. All the people I talked to were catching some but it was slow. Most were fishing approx. 20 ft. deep, some using black/chartreuse or Berkley Vegas (?) jigs. I caught mine at 15, 18, and 22 ft deep (no depth better than another) with gray/chartreuse hair and black/chartreuse tube jigs.

    Cold and dreary. Was in the 40s with steady east wind. My feet nearly froze. Think the next couple of days are supposed to be about the same.

    http://made a trip to darbonne sunday and caught 28 1to 2 lb crappie.

    TBONE - I was there Sunday evening too. I caught 28. What did your boat look like? I have the red Nitro glass with 125. What finger were you in? I was in the 2nd. Jimmy.

    Ray - What part of the lake were you on? I have been thinking about fishing the north end of the lake. Just curious...
