    Default Scratching that Itch - 2024 Cranking Cyress


    I've out of commission lately recovering from broken ribs and arm from a slip/fall on ice in January and made my first cranking trip of 2024 yesterday on Cypress Lake in Benton. Found a few takers and caught 8 crappie pulling bandit 300's . Crappie wanted white color baits and were located between 10 to 14 ft on my graphs and water temps was 72 degrees.

    Well its a start and it was nice to get out and bend a few rods trolling crank baits. Things will get better after spawning is over and water temps heat up.:
