glow paint tips
How do you all keep track of the poles if you spider rig at night? Do you have a light shining on the poles? I bet that would be cumbersome fishing during the warmer months due to all the bugs so I would like to hear some ideas if you have any or solutions if you already have a set up.

How about attaching a small glow stick to the tip of the rod with tape.

I have heard that Green LED lights don't Attract bugs , But you have to have a shield where the lights don't shine in your Eyes,... It takes a while to get your Night Vision back.. I have a Night Vision Monocular that is Green, when you take it away from your eye you can not see anything for several minutes
I met a guy at Black Bayou in Benton that was setup for it.
He had a really long deep camo boat with rod holders down one side only.
At first I thought he was pushing cranks but when I asked he said no that his boat liked to drift sideways.
He had 3-4 shiner hooks on each rod with a split shot between each topped off with a cork!
Each rod holder was evenly spaced with an led light between.
Fisrt time I ever saw a spider corker!
He said the bugs didnt come in da boat but stayed on other side where da lights shine.
Ya can't no more do what ya don't know than ya can come back from where ya ain't been!
Green Shiner...Its Trey the guy you met at black bayou Saturday with the above mentioned boat. You and Cajun Dave inspired me to log on after quite some time. Shoot me a message if your more interested in talking about the set up and how it works. It was great meeting yall! Look forward to hearing from you. FYI...ended up with 39 Crappie and 4 Cats.
I have nothing taken of it in the past year since all of my adds. I will take one tomorrow with everything in the shot. Sorry!
