I was out there bass fishing and it sucked. What were your water temps?

Heard of lots of folks heading to the chicken coop, water temp must be cold.

I was seeing 45 in coves and 48 in the spots I was fishing in the main part of San Miguel. I did see as high as 52 while running.

Is the chicken coop a hot spot yet? Thinking of renting a cabin over there in the coming weeks, but the owners say business is slow right now.

My daughter and I stayed at the Cliffside Lodge on the Chicken Coop this weekend. Saw only a few boats out there before the rain. Did not get a bite off the dock. Did we miss the feeding frenzy, or should the bite pick up at the Chicken Coop later this month?

Went to Blue lake Thursday the 1st before the wind got bad. Caught 18 really good one full of eggs, 3 to 5 feet of water on 1/32 road runners. They are on the move.
