Default Hot fishing and hot weather.

Yesterday my plan was to leave at daylight to try to beat the heat. Well I fell asleep in my easy chair waiting for 5 AM to arrive. Linda woke me at 6 AM and said I thought we were going fishing. WoW! I jumped up and hurriedly got ready and off we went about 1 1/2 hours later than planned. The fish didn't seem to mind as they were waiting for us just the same. Fishing weed beds again just as before we had a blast. Final tally was 15 keeper bass. Linda did hook one sac but it came off at the boat. The heat nearly overcame Linda so it will be her last trip until we get some cooler weather, heat index of 100 is too much for her. Although we didn't keep count, I think she boated more than I. Bluegills were biting the paddle tail off of our baits which made them act much like a stinger bait. They had a darting action. Linda used that to her advantage by letting it drop in between the weed beds and enticing the bass to hit.
