    Default I got whooped today.

Sometimes things just go right and today it went right for Linda. We left late and started fishing around 10 am and fished until 1 pm. That's when I got tired of fighting the troll motor. My micro anchor shallow water anchor came in handy today.

To put it like JR the conditions were perfect. The winds were in a range of 10 to 15 and the water was higher than I've ever seen it at the landing, completely covering the docks. The water at the landing was as clear as gin but as soon as we hit the Intracoastal it turned to a pretty latte brown. We rode around until I found a spot where clear water was coming out the marsh and mixing with the latte. We started fishing using the same baits as I had rigged them up before we left because I knew that's what we were going to catch the fish on. Then it started, bam, Linda has a fish on. Then bam, another one and on it went until she had 5 and I had 0. She even caught one after casting her line out and I asked her to do something that she had to put her pole down for. When she finished and picked it up she had a fish on. Some days are like that. Anyway I finally caught my first fish and then another. We seemed to have wore out that spot so we moved on. While doing so I hook the big fish of the day but it was only a half inch bigger than Linda's. They look liked a pair of 2 pound twins. After not catching any more we eased along the bank where the clear water and the latte mixed until I finally caught one By then I had had enough. Linda said she wasn't ready and then stuck a stave through my heart. She said "we can't leave now, you haven't dropped you phone overboard yet". It's a good thing I love her, is all I can say.

I do have some pictures but have to learn how to put them on here with my new phone. The pictures are way too large so I have to make them smaller. I'll try to get them on later.

Great report. Hey gene, if you rigged the baits a case can be made your rig caught the fish on mrs. Linda's pole.

Fishing and Joking around with your Soul Mate. I don't think it can get much better than that.
If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.

Ha I remember that picture it was in the pavilion at the TB Gathering this year. I recognize that guy in the green shirt with the full belly.
