    I kind of thought that's what the law required, but like Bruce it's never a problem for me and I don't freeze any fish.

    Where it gets murky to me is who can legally claim or possess a limit of fish? I do the majority of the fishing in my household so do those possession limits extend to all members of my household? There's a big difference in legally possessing 100 crappie and 800 crappie....

    I realize that kids do not need one.....just saying anyone possessing fish be legal ....my wife does not fish but I get her a license just to avoid any hassle if we are checked.....
