Default Late Post - D'Arbonne Sunday

Not a good Day For Catching,,,, Started at first Light in the Lake out from Stowe Creek on the Bank. After the Rain the fish moved about Two foot deeper ---- Bro Caught 6 Big Crappie Rappidly then the Bite stopped ..... While he Was Catching I was Feeding Minnows without ever Touching a hook in the Lips about 15 Minnows!!!!! Our Trip Before I lost the Jig when the Line Broke on one Giant slab on the Last cast of that Day...... Finally about 3 PM I caught a Bass when we moved into Stowe Creek to get out of the Wind. Bro caught 2 more Slabs Before I connected with a crappie about 8 inches long then a slab under the walkway of a dock ----- all Day long to catch 2 Crappie ---- The Throngs of Hundreds of Boats along that section has reduced the numbers of Catachable Fish..... TUESDAY --- Bro had a Doctors apointment in Monroe at 8:00 and the Ramp at 33 was overflowing.... At noon as we returned a Bulldoser was needed to make a spot to park and someone would beat you to your new spot.... You could walk across the Boats. No thank You..... I will go fish in a ditch and Kick at the Cotton Mouths first.... Thanks to 20 Watt places like BonnIdee are Out there with Slabs Guarding nests and no other Boats in the Area

Good report Larry. Speaking of the Bonne idee it's past time for me to go check it out. We crossed over it headed to and from poverty this past weekend and it's literally the color of chocolate milk. Looks as if you could plant tomatoes in it right now.

With the Water muddy you can sneek up closer on the Big Trees.... VET --- I knew I could count on You -- I Think - was Just Right for a Laugh. American Crappie Trail { ACT} has a Tourney there this Weekend and Pre Fishing is going on during this week---- Part of First Prize is a Ranger Boat during Each Tourney The 25 MPH wind today will slow things down. I di Belive The reason for all the missed fish was I was using a small jig with a small hook--- with those Big mouths De little hook was missing every time .... BRO was using a plain Crappie hook with the Shinner.

Shiners do rule, but this time of year Larry, tote a basket of crickets just in case. Pick on the fat Brim for fun.
