WTG dad
I was waiting and itching to go catch some Sacalait but i was waiting for our poles to come in, I purchased 3 Salter's Jigging poles and was waiting for them to come in the mail, but I couldn't wait anymore especially since i got off early from work. I stop at Academy and but me and the little one a Mr. Crappie micro spin set and we went to our local park and of course my little man nails the only Sac we caught that evening 13 .25". Good times....

Thanks, yes he is the reason i got in to Sacs, he was driving me crazy with wanting to go fish and i keep telling him, man I'm not going out in the marsh and fighting this wind to chase specks... My oldest son brought home some Sacs from when him and best friend went with his dad and i cooked them up and i was bitten... but working the inside in the shade is nice, real nice instead of melting in the salt water marsh.
Great first trip, and the addiction has begun.

Welcome to the club! I was also a salt water guy. I started calling it "too" fishing. Spots were too far away. Wind was too strong. Distance too far to drive. Water too muddy. Crowd too big.
A friend took me spider-rigging at Larto. 65 fish later, conversion complete.

Great job, dad. Now, both of you are addicted.

Great job
And with that, I'll see you on the water...
