You might also try Bayou Dorcheat above the public ramps at Dixie Inn. That place and I go back over 50 years when I'd fish it from my 11-foot duckboat, and I still love it!

There's Ivan Lake on Bodcau, I was drained and restocked a few years ago. Then there's the bayou and swamp off duck damn, I've fished it before in my roe, spinning rods with frogs and soft plastics and caught bass to 4 pounds
