    A shiner on a number 2 gold Aberdeen hook rules. The crappie don't get fat eating pretty colored plastics.

    Black and chartreuse seems to be the overall favorite. It's mine too. I just had a hunch about blue and chartreuse and wanted to see if you all have had much success with that. Tied three such flies, and judging from the response, that will be all of that combination for me!
    Thanks guys - appreciate the help. Oh, the two sacs I caught in the chilly wind-blown rain this PM were on black and chartreuse! Rock on!

    Blue n chartreuse wouldn't be on the bill otherwise. I'm a big fan of orange bulk n Chrt (yellow) n the same with a white body. Blue n white always gets a pink head
