    Default Question about colors

Had an inspiration, but before I load up my fly box with it, I humbly seek the advice of those with a bit more knowledge of the subject. Please, if you would, rank these color combinations #1, #2, and #3, with #1 being your favorite.
    *Blue and White
    *Black and Chartreuse
    *Blue and Chartreuse
I surely appreciate the input. Y'all catch a bunch.

    1 Black/chartreuse
    2 Blue/white
    3 blue/ chartreuse

That's my opinion, comes with a money back guarantee.

I don't know about the experience part but my "go to" colors are #1 black/chartreuse, #2 blue/white, #3 something with a crawfish color black/orange. A lot of this depends on water clarity. Just my opinion.

Can't say either one is better than the other. However, blue and white and black and chartreuse are my favorite colors to use. They are my go to colors and I almost never fish with any others. Depends on water, but if its clear or slightly stained, I go with blue and white to start. If its stained to muddy I use black and chartreuse. Usually alternate different color jig heads instead of alternating the actual jig color. I find black and chartreuse on a hot pink or orange head has been deadly for me. But everyone has there go to bait that they have confidence in. I'm sure you will get multiple opinions.

Nope, not always! I have put a shiner on at bundicks and fished with jigs ALL DAY and caught fish on the jigs and at the end of the day still have that same shiner on that I started with!

Pete, I've caught them on those three plus a thousand others. Seems like they go in cycles. I remember when blue/white tubes were all the craze. I then discovered the Sassy Shad by Mister Twister. For 3 or 4 years that's all I used in the tuxedo color (black back/white belly). When they came out with the stinger tails I used them in black/white and blue/white, but caught my largest bass (7 pounds) on an electric chicken. That's the only fish I've ever caught on that color. Now a days I used blue and white or black and white tubes. If that doesn't work I figure the fish ain't hungry and my try a Roadrunner with blue and white tube or I'll dig through my bag and try one of the hundreds of colors I have. I wish you luck in finding just the right combos.
