    Default Bayou D'Arbonne @ Spillway 2/13/2017


    Well, me and Ole....., oh, that's right, I was Bayou Self on D'Arbonne Bayou at the Spillway. Caught me a mess of those Crappie and watched a few friends rip a few lips. I ended up with 12 today. I did have some good company to fish with. Trace Talbert and Johnny Williams, also Jay Kavanaugh and Joshua Maxwell. Man, the wind was brutal till about 2:00 P. M., but we managed. Caught mine in 22 FOW fishing 15 FD on Cajun Cricket and Brush Glider.

    Those are some good looking fish!! Good thing you stuck with it thru the wind, I'm glad it paid off for you! I've never seen that brush glider, I'm gonna have to check that out. Thanks for the good report and pics
