    Default D'Arbonne

Can I get a D'Arbonne report? Thinking of coming that way tomorrow. Are they still up in the shallow water?

I haven't seen any reports on D'Arbonne lately. Wish you the best of luck. I would think the fish would have started moving to deeper water. Just my humble opinion since I haven't been to D'Arbonne in several months.

last year we had our gathering in october around this time. most of the fish were already in the channel. we caught a bunch of fish in the channel right out in front of the state park boat launch. rattle snake bend is just down the channel from where the boat road hits the channel. thats a good spot. i would start in the channel somewhere and go from there.

good luck and make sure you post a report. we love pics too!!

Thanks Pastor and docwaldo. I didn't go today, still may venture that way tomorrow before the rain starts. I'll be so glad to get some rain, lol.

Don, my dad and I went today and stunk it up. We quit at 10:30 with 3 keepers and 4 or 5 throw backs. We fished forks ferry and up little dbone, channel edge 11 ft deep. Not that many people out fishing but did talk to 4 other boats on way out and they had 3,3,4 and 8 fish.

The lake is almost 2 feet low....if you run any skinny water, might use a little extra caution.

i talked to lance from the state park today. he gave me this report. a guy he talked to today caught 25 yesterday. he found a hump in the channel that went from 28 to 20. he caught them a foot off the bottom. but today he went back and only caught 3. lance didnt tell me whether it was shiners or jigs. so at least the fish are starting to get in the channel. hope this helps!!
