Been watching the water level and wondering how the fishing was. Been stuck at the house all week gonna give it a try in the morning. Last weekend the water in pelba was clean but too cold at 50 deg. Hoping it warmed up this week
You have seen them all......
Well almost...I did have one goggle eye......water temp 60 deg.....tried shiners and jigs.....I did see several snakes and a beaver or muskrat.....think I will lay off tomorrow...muddy water everywhere....water coming up fast.....

I am going in the am. The pits and ski course and buttlarose canal should still be clean water

Well it was just too nice and you had to go after all the cruddy weather. Me too.
I did the same, didn't wait until the rain was over. We hit the road after viewing the radar and knew it was ending shortly. WE left the boat launch in the rain but arrived at the first stop 20 minutes later in sunshine. Way to much water out there. We search and search and could not find and willing fish to join us for supper. Stopped in one muddy hole and caught one sac 6" long and released him after taking a picture for the "release for seed" contest. Also caught a small goggle eye. Nice boat ride just the same. Had to get some fresh air and water under the boat.
