I have one of those rods, but I don't use it much because if you pop the line inside, it's a pain to restring. It sure does work great though for tight line fishing, super sensitive, and fun to catch on!

I have a B&M telescopic for a back up. It feels like a brick compared to these custom built rods. No eyes string is inside the rod. They weigh 6 oz. with reel. They are made from 8 wt. fly rod blanks. I keep my piano wire in my tackle bag. I use spider wire and you can feel the weight of the jig at the end of it falling it is that sensitive.Name: courtney rodscp.jpg

I second the J.D. Courtney jig pole. Most sensitive rod I've ever fished.
Also I have done some Lilly pad punching in Henderson, not in the pits though and with great success.
