My skeeter control plan is the Thermacell unit, been bowhunting the early season with this since it first came out, no contest, works extremely well, better than anything else out there. I've held back skeeters in some most awful situations after the hurricanes.

I must have missed the thread about this, please explain it to me.....

At Saline/Larto a couple of weeks ago and the gnats ate me alive, I have some sort of allergic reaction to the bites as my ears swell up as big as my hands and had welts on my neck/forehead for a week, itches like crazy too.......

always had the belief that if you out on the water and smell good like that then the bees and wasp will also find you. The sweet smell will bring the unwanted guest if not careful and then they don't want to leave.

Just get your self one of the Thermacell things? I got one a couple years ago for night fishing and you know how bad it can get at night with out enough wind to hold them down. Well it works and had them bugs just out of you face enough, but every time I turned around to see behind me and near the side of the boat I was met with a huge number of pest. Never one coming into my little area unless I looked behind me where the Thermacell was not protecting. Don't have to sell like that and you can't smell this stuff at all. Each little pad last 4 hours and the little bottle of fuel last two pads, but it works was the best part.
