Navionics.com - Then go to Chart Viewer - Zoom in on the lake.

I Printed up copies of the Contours from 33 south to the dam. it is easy to study and shows that the regular maps sold of the lake have things incorrect and in the wrong locations.. I wished I had printed the lake up to highway 2

I found a TOPO for Northern Louisiana made in 1950. The lake was built in 1963 i think so it dates back before then. It was somewhat useful in that it shows the lake follows the existing layout of the the land around the creeks it was built over. I couldnt find any roads that crossed the creeks or humps that are natural. So it wasnt much help in that regard. I can't remember the site but i remember searching topo maps for Louisiana years 1900-1999. I found this file titled LA_Shreveport_335227_1956_250000_geo.tif and downloaded it. Sorry I couldnt be more help.

Google "insight genesis". Find a link called "social map". When it opens up you'll see a map of the US. zoom in on la. And find Lake Darbonne. You will see a little raindrop icon if you zoom in close enouef. Click on the raindrop and a window will open up with a download link. You can download the map to an SD card, place it into your sonar unit, and see the map of the lake with contours on your sonar unit.

I just checked the Site out and DO NOT LIKE what I saw --- Areas I fish shows the Contour of One foot and is 8 to 12 foot --- An area I know well is about 200 yards long that has a drop off from 10 to 16 feet is missing --- Websters Bluff up Corney is a joke
