    Default Best place to stay on North Barkley area?


    I知 gonna get to fish a couple days at the end of next week, looking for a cozy little place to rest my head and charge the boat batteries. Gonna be fishing north Barkley and north Kentucky lake. Aside from big hotel at kuttawa intersection of I24 and 641, I know there is a really small motel on 641 heading towards the stone quarry that looks closed. Any other places anyone know of in the area?

    I just booked tomorrow night and Friday at the relax inn and suites in Kutawa. Good reviews on trip advisor.

    By the way if your going to clean fish the only place I've been able to find that has a fish cleaning station you can use is the Eddy Creek Marina.

    We stay at Eddycreek resort, covered docks and cleaning area.

    I appreciate your thoughts on Eddie Creek it is a nice place, fished there many times but I知 wanting to fish further North this trip

    Check out AirBnB. I found a nice house on the north end of Barkley. Real reasonable cost. Close to a boat ramp. If that is any interest.
