I was over there this past Saturday. I put in at Blue stem boat ramp number 1 and started fishing that cove. Where I had caught 4 a couple of days ago, I never got a bite. I went over to sailboat cove and never got a bite there. Ended up working my way North and ended up on the North side of the train tracks. Once again no bites. The water is up from the last time I was there where, you have to wade thru water to get your boat in and to get on the loading docks. Very muddy and up close to 4 feet. Going to wait till it gets back to a little closer to normal. Hope this helps.

I went ahead and went last night, have to fish when I get the chance! Only caught 2 crappie, one in about 3 foot of water and one in about 9 foot of water. I guess that is two more than I would have caught on the couch. Rain is supposed to come back in tonight, can't catch a break with all the rain.

I here ya on the rain. I live 20 minutes from Melvern, it rains just when the lake gets back to normal pool level. The water is clearing up to about normal, water temps coming back and then another cold front. Fishing takes another dive. OH and the wind! 35 to 45 mph Ugh!!
