    Default Hillsdale 4/9 & 4/10

Haven't been out since Easter weekend and decided to go fight the wind on Saturday. The crappie were still hanging out on the pre-spawn banks, but they had moved out a bit deeper. 20-25 fow was the key this weekend. Springhill Duck, Hairy Vetch, and I managed to scrape out 50 over 10" on Saturday afternoon and then came back on Sunday and pulled out another 41. The wind forced us to fish some completely new water, but the pattern was still the same. Right on the bottom, scattered out in 20-25 fow. They would smack it hard when you found them! Due to the wind and depth we had to use 3/8-1/2 oz jigs to keep em down. Good Luck!

Wow you had to SCRAPE out 50!! I'd call that a very good day even with three fishing.....when I grow up I want to be as good a fisherman as you Lucky!
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
