    Default Marion County

Haven't been over for a few months but planning on an all day trip tomorrow. Anyone fished it lately? Heard it was slow, and with this weather on top of it who knows what will bite. Anyone else wanna join in? Room for plenty of boats

Usually only fish that lake in the winter around the heated dock would be nice to get out there in open water let me know when you are going if you want! I fish on weekdays mostly.

Good luck, planning fishing in the morning myself. I hope the fish are as eager as me.

Didn't make it to Marion, had some stuff come up and stayed home. Went to Bennington on Sunday to troll for eyes and only caught one 14", so decided to go after slabs for a bit before I left and only hauled in 5. Pretty slow! I'm going to blame the weather

I probably should have been. Wanted to use up some worms in the fridge so my wife would get off my rear, so used them with floating jigs

I went to the heated dock earlier this week for about 3 hours. I was using banana jigs, and didn't get a single bite. There was 2 guys the were using small plastic skirted jigs (white skirts), that caught some crappie. I didn't see any real big ones, but they had about 15 the were about 10 - 12 inches. I didn't have anything like what they were using, but kept trying different things that I had, with no luck.

Talked to a guy who fished there Monday said he caught a limit, using dark colored bass Assassins. He is a good fisherman so I tend to believe him. He said fished inside and outside caught most inside.
